How will preventive care be affected?  What is the law's impact on integrative medicine?

Come and find out the unprocessed truth at Harper College on October 8, 2012 at 7:00pm CT. The public is invited free of charge.

The Community Forum panel consists of Congressman Joe Walsh, IL 8thdistrict,  Joseph Mercola, DO, Barbara Bellar, MD, JD, and Laura Minzer, Executive Director of the IL Chamber of Commerce Health Care Council.  (Ms. Tammy Duckworth, candidate, IL 8thdistrict, has declined due to a previous commitment.)

Our goal is a respectful discussion meant to educate both our Congressional Representatives and the public at large about aspects of the Affordable Care Act which relate to nutrition, prevention and integrative medicine.

There are concerns that the ACA may infringe on preventative care, including nutritional counseling and alternative medicine. We would like the public and our representatives to be aware of the facts of the ACA in this area, as well as hear our concerns.

Michael Stroka, President of the ANA will act as moderator.  If you wish to submit a question to the panel beforehand, please email them to contact@americannutritionassociation.org.
