Program Philosophy:
The Masters of Clinical Nutrition (MSACN) at New York Chiropractic College is a program with a combined integrative and preventative approach to health and disease and provides the perfect complement to traditional healthcare education curricula. Specifically, we train our students to use an evidence-based approach to transition patients from a state of disease back to a state of health and well-being. Our curriculum is built on the foundation of whole foods nutrition. However, we strongly believe that a successful approach to health must consider best medical practices from all disciplines thus we also evaluate conventional western medical approaches. Our goal is to create a focus on prevention through diet, exercise, combining of botanical medicine and supplements, and stress management techniques.
