About My Practice & Typical Clients

I am a Certified Holistic Health and Nutrition Counselor with private practices in Brooklyn and Soho, New York.  I specialize in weight loss, digestive and gastrointestinal problems and hormonal imbalance, and primarily work with professional women in their 20s and 30s.

A health counselor is a wellness guide and supportive mentor. Together we will discuss your personal goals in depth, and develop a customized plan to help you achieve them.  Whether you are looking to reach your optimal weight, eliminate food cravings, reduce stress, increase energy, or experience more restful sleep, I will give you the tools to develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work specifically for you and implement lasting changes for the rest of your life.

Rather than dwelling on restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

Whether you are looking to reach your optimal weight, eliminate food cravings, reduce stress, or experience more restful sleep, I can help you develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work specifically for you.

I also lead workshops and corporate wellness programs, and founded the blog, The Organic Beauty.  I am Board Certified by the American Associated of Drugless Practitioners.

Healthcare Philosophy Statement

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. We are not only fed by food but by other factors in our lives.  Does stress at your job cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Is a toxic relationship causing you to experience food cravings?

Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and some sort of connective practice are essential forms of nourishment.  As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

No one diet works for everyone. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I will guide you in making positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, personal preferences, and background. Instead of prescribing one fix for all people, I use a personalized, holistic approach that is based on your needs.  Together, we will make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
